GPS navigation systems

Hi guys, The Mrs, and I are planning to take a trip down to Texas this fall. I was wondering about buying a GPS Navigation to help get us around to keep the peace between us.

I was wondering if anyone out there has one and what kind the have And if there are futures and brands should I look for when i go buy one in a couple of weeks.

I just picked up a new Garmin 250w for my truck and so far it works real good. Not too confusing to run. Touch screen and all that. Cheap too $250.

I have the same one and it works great, in fact I purchased the maps for Italy for our upcomming trip

I just picked up a Garmin 530Hcx and installed City Navigator on it, you enter an address and it gives you turn by turn directions....pretty simple to use.

I have a review on a Garmin handheld on this site if you want to go and look at it. In addition to what I have said there, I would also mention that Garmin's map updates are cheaper than Tom Toms.

I would just like to say thanks for all the help guys,

The Mrs pick up the Garmin 260 W at Future shop for $300 on Saturday night. It seem to easy to use.
