gorilla axle question?

I have a 2008 750 KQ with a 2 inch HL lift and gorilla axles on the front. I would like to take the lift off and am wondering if the gorilla axles will be ok without the lift. When i ordered the axles i told the kevin at rapid revolutions that i had a 2 inch lift. Is there a difference in axle dimensions for a stock bike to a bike with a 2 inch lift?

there should be no difference. you should be able to take the lift off with no issues.

Correct, they are just heavier duty, better for any condition.

why take them off, just remove the lift kit and stay with the heavier more robust axles, that's what I would do, save your money for some thing else

I never planned on taking the axles off, just wanted to make sure they would still work without the lift. I have decided to keep the lift on as well tho as i am putting 29.5's on.
