GoPro mounting?

I just got my GoPro hero HD2 helmet camera in the mail today (thank you www.launchhelmetcams.ca ) and I was wondering what's the best way to mount it to my helmet? On the side or on top? The first 6 inches of the extended chin peice is flat (where my finger is).

I mounted mine on the top.

i mounted mine to the top of a brand new helmet.the adhesion on the go pro mount was good but the adhesion of the paint to the helmet was not good.so I lost my camera.good idea to attach a tether to your camera.I also put a mount on my hood facing me.

Did you guys mount it right behind your visor? Or on it?

i mounted one behind visor and also one on visor so i could face it back towards my face

I installed one mount on the side and one on top. Do most use a chest mount for sledding?

I also use a fishing leader for a safety tether cord.

Yea I'll be strapping a leader on ther for sure. Good idea.

Good thinking....I took mine snorkling in Jamaica and attached 2 boat key floating keychains to it in case I dropped it it would float worked awesome
