Just curious if anyone has experience with either the "popup" make or bw extend a goose couplers that move trailers back about 9" for short box trucks but still maintain weight over the rear axle.

The pop up make look robust enough but I have zero knowledge about them. I have a B&W turnover hitch in the long box and have to say it is perfection. I know it just about looks with this concern but the B&W "extend a goose" looks weak. Cost is about the same.

Thanks

I have used the extend a goose coupler and never had a problem with it. I didn't have experience tho with a short box as I was running a flat deck dually at the time. They did a recall a few years back to beef them up a bit and add some gussets to further strengthen them. B&W sent everyone that had them brand new ones. If you are interested I have the brand new one for sale as I got a new truck when the recall happened so I never ended up using it. PM me if you are interested.
