I hope this will save a life in the future.
I read the report details every time they come out. Every 3rd day the Canadian Avalanche Association puts out the forecasts. Learn what the terminology is and read it throughly.

Subscribe now to it. Awareness is the key. As they are general area reports, don't just rely on these reports only, conditions can change from hill to hill.
Do your own snowpack tests when you are venturing into the backcountry.
It does however makes you aware of the weak layers, and trends, to plan your next trip.

Thanks Mark.....already signed up and yes it is very helpful ..... I suggest everybody that backcountry rides check this site before heading out...
