Gear bag lost on Hyw. 1 east of Golden,BC.

Yesterday on our way back from Golden we had a gear bag come off the truck. It happened between 11am and 2pm. We were headin east bound on Hyw.1 and noticed it was gone just before the Cochrane turn off went back to search for it with no luck, stopped at the local gas stations, weigh scales,park gate, notified RCMP, you name it we tryed it. Hoping the right person has picked it up and will try to return it to its owner as it has alot of costly gear inside as well as a recent christmas present. The bag is blue and white and is a hockey bag type. Contents can be descibed to verify ownership. If you have seen it or have any info. on it please PM me..it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!$$$

We left Golden at about the same time and headed east aswell. We did not see anything on the highway or roadside, except a few cars in the ditch. Sorry about your luck, hopefully you get your stuff back!!

On a side note, we almost were in a REALLY BAD collision about 5 km east of Lake louise. A westbound red Tempest lost control and came at us in the eastbound lane, missed us and colided with a semi-trailer unit right behind us. The only reason he missed us was because I sped up. He missed us by less than a foot. Be carefull out there!

WOW, close call for you!! Glad it worked out for the best and hopfully no one was hurt in the related acident!
Got a phone call from the Canmore RCMP late new years eve informing us that the bag was turned in at their detachment. Very cool turns out that 08 finished on a good note!!

Good news! It's nice to see people are still honest these days..

We were boarding that day at Lake Louise and my buddies informed us via our radios that they were stuck in a closure! We were wondering what happened. Glad you guys are 'Ok'!
