If 2013 no special tools, just a jar of vaseline to make price of new filter assembly go smoother!

Need the little release clips to diss-engage the fitting at the fuel tank on the 2011, to change out the fuel filter. Is the 2013 different? The price Polaris wants for this part is ridiculous, there is a really good thread on this topic over on Snowest forum. I went with what is recommended on Snowest, buying all in stock items from Napa for about half the price of the Polaris part. With the new set up I can now change the fuel filter in a couple of minutes without removing the airbox and only pay about $12 for the filter

Yes the 2013 filter is different, and is tool free on the pump side. SPI now makes a complete filter replacement supposedly about 1/2 the price of a Polaris filter.

Problem is the spi filter is only for the 11-12 models.

will have one for the 13 within a month.

the 2011 and 2012 need a fuel disconnect tool to disconnect the fuel line from the gas tank. 2013 is updated to a quick clip design.
