I need help picking a shock. I hit a jump and hit a wash out and broke my shock and bent my A- Arms. I am looking for a Fox shock on ebay and found some fox float 3's. The part number they are referencing isn't on the Fox we site. Anyone know what the part number for a fox float 2 or 3 for a 2014 summit 800 sp 154"?

Thanks in advance.

If you bent up your A-arms as well you could look into the S-36 kit out of the doo catalog, comes with everything you would need to rebuild the front end minus the spindles.

I have had couple sets of fox shocks. They aren't that great, would never own another set.

38 inch front end is 17 inch I believe
36 inch is 16.5 inch's if I remember right.
Fox shocks are cheap to shorten. Nextech in Edmonton do it for around $100

Most Fox shocks come with a generic valve setup. Have them setup properly and they are a great shock and no different than any other high end shock.

My main complaint is the leaking. Other shocks dont have this problem.

Parts are in but now i have to take the ball joints out of the spindles.... That looks fairly straight forward, as for the ball joint in the A-arm whats the best way of doing that? Do you pull the snap ring and then press it out downward? Need help for the upper and lower if they don't come out the same?

Thanks.

Can you Put Ball joints back together or are they toast when they separate like the lower one did?

Would you need to shorten them. The A arms have more than enough movement to accomodate them. Would they be the same fit as piggy back KYB from a Freeride going on to a S36 front end?
