Tried to open the hood on my 2013 F350 Lariat and the interior handle moves but the hood release doesn't "pop" or open the first step of the hood coming up. Calling on your expertise as to where to go from there?

Re: Ford hook latch

Title should have been HOOD latch.

title fixed, after pulling the handle go out and give the middle of the hood a good smack with a fist, alternatively get Bev to pull the lever while you lift up on the hood.

Thank you for fixing the title and for the information. Went out to try both and lo' and behold, it was open. Just got back from downtown and it must have unlatched while I was driving. Oiled the pivot points up good.

All fixed. Great place to get information and stuff about fixing all sorts of things!
