I needed a Flywheel for a 97' Ultra 680 touring. I bought one on KIJIJI and purchased the stator for it as well. It was supposedly for same year 680 Ultra but not the touring edition. I should have asked the part # in hind site. The flywheel from the wife's Ultra touring is FP9103 the one I bought is FP9304. When you compare the 2 the 9304 is larger diameter. The stators look slightly different is size. The one from the wife's sled is 3 15/16" across the coil units. The one I bought is 4 1/8" across, matching the purchased flywheel. One of the plugs are slightly different than the other one the two stators, but still 3 prong. The plugs would be easy to switch.
I have two questions.
1. Will the different size and weight of the two fly wheels bugger up the crank?
2. Are the two stators compatible?
