Sure seen some rough looking deer here In okotoks. Highly doubt those are the first 2 cases. Probably just the slow ass government only realized now.
Have you seen the one hobbling around missing a hind rear leg? Not sure how it survived that.

I havnt. But last year we definitely saw one with cwd. Looked like a zombie deer. We always have tons of deer around us here.

Actually the problem is some of successfull hunters are not submitting the heads, thousands are and some are not. The CO's are taking this CWD issue very seriously. My buddy is a butcher and the CO's have gone to his place many times to inspect the hanging animals and since he has a collection freezer they will pick up the heads
