Fire!!!

Anyone ever hear of an alternator lighting on fire!!!!!The truck was off!!!!Washed under the hood not direct water spray.......

Not since the old Ford Tempo Days, I had one start a fire under the hood. Hope there was not to much damage

Have seen gmc alternators short and catch fire while the vehicle was sitting not running. Been to 2 that I remember.

Alternator caught fire on my 1989 chevy 454 a few years back... cruising down the highway and poof...

everything but an alternator catch fire under my hood over the years......some got put out and some......well big pile of brunt crap!
