Fernie Mar.7 - 9 (and Blackstone Lodge)

The pictures speak for themselves on conditions.
We stayed at this new B&B in Fernie called Blackstone Lodge. Unreal place! For $100/night (not per person, per room) we got a room with two single beds and gourmet breakfast in the morning! The owners were very gracious and accomodating; Ian and his wife Charlie built a brand new high-end 6500 sq ft log home that has an awesome outdoor cedar barrel hot-tub (like on hot tub time machine) and this awesome man cave with 62" LED tv and high-def cable. The best part was, they are 2km from coal creek road so we sledded in and sledded out using the power line to access the coal creek road!! Doesnt get better than this boys.
Check these guys out, you wont be sorry.....

Hey ronmexico sorry we did not get a chance to say thanks for the great day of riding. I'm the guy that was riding the 2011 Pro RMK. My budding and I decided to hit another trail before the end of the day. I would say the best day of riding for the year to date.
It was good to meet you and your buddy at the Blackstone Lodge and I too would agree that the folks at the Blackstone Lodge were great, the place is amazing. I stayed in the king size bed room! The food was great and it made the trip so much better to be able to ride right from there lodge to the mountain. If anyone is looking to stay in Fernie this lodge is newly built and opened in Dec 2010 I think they said. You won't be disappointed.
