Fender Flares/Extensions

Hi there

Looking for someone that has or has had fender extensions on a Grizzly.

Two that im looking at are the Yamaha Overfender, and Maier Extensions.

Both are around $200 ish bucks.

What I want to know is do these things detonate if they happen to rub against say a tree or post or anything else one might smash into. If anybody could tell me which one they prefer or have had expierience in I would be gratefull

The Maier ones are really wide,. like 4" I believe,. whereas the Yamaha over fenders I think are about 2"

Check out the flares from Direction 2 as well. I installed a set on my 850XP and so far they seem pretty durable.

My buddy has the Yamaha extensions. He tapped a tree and put a crease in to it. He has tried everything and he can not get the crease out.

then they depart from the quad...
