Thanks for this information re a reccommendation for family riding..... was planning on asking the same questions, we rented a place in Dunster and will be heading up on Dec 26 and staying until Jan 2....

There will be a hand full of prairie trail riders with us....so sounds like Belle is the place to start them out.

I’m sure the answer is on the site somewhere but I can’t seem to find it ….
so what is the altitude in the Valley and up where a beginner would go on:

Belle

Lucille.

One of the sleds is a Ski Doo 500 SLE touring, it has the adjustable clutch, but was thinking I'd still have to re jet???

Elevation of McBride Town is 2369 feet
Highest Point on Belle Mountain is 6562 feet
Highest Point on Lucille is 5249 feet
Got this info from the U of BC - should be very close

That Equinox looks cool.....and thier out of Winterpeg(Albertan for Winnipeg)....

How comfortable of a ride for say to grandparents?????

I have been inside of it and it wasn't that bad tough part was getting in and out. It has some suspension so the ride is pretty smooth. As long as there is some snow on the trail its smooth. On ice it is pretty noise, other than that we like it. Had my boys car seat strapped inside on a trip. He still fell asleep inside on the trail.
