Factory Doo 174 versus Camo 174 how much lighter ?

Wondering is the special Doo 174 is lighter then the Camoplast over the counter 174 ? I here different weights 2.6-9 lbs. what is the difference ??? And is it available over the counter ??

It is lighter but can't remember how much they claimed. It would have changed a bit with going to 2 ports from 4. Yes you can buy just the track from Doo.

The lugs are the full 16 inchs wide like the older ones.
Same as the one you have allrevsrule.
Remember the newer ones went to the narrow lug pattern by pulling them in from the outside of the belt.

what do you want lighter? your sled or your wallet? heard the doo track is like 2-3 times the price of the camo if you buy it as a part.

edit:

i see maxwell stated the doo track is $2000. haha

Not 2-3 times but a good $500 +/- more.

I am interested in the 7 tooth drivers if they are a lot smoother than avids?

I am too but so far only see the driver and driveshaft listed as a rather pricey assembly.

Yeh thous jack ass's have done this since 2008.
Hope that maybe avid will change there's if it works as good .

Have you ever tried Wahls? I used them for a season in an old sled and they worked fine.

I would be more concerned of the rotating mass difference first , then look at price ?? I have a old style 174 at home I can weigh. Some one must know the weight of the Doo 174 ???
