F350 aftermarket rim advice needed

I have a 2015 f350 crew long box. Installing ready lift stage 2 levelling kit. I have searched the Internet but haven't got any solid answers or pictures concerning offset. I want to run 35x12.50r18 tires most likely or maybe 20's but I haul a camper so thought more rubber would be better. Question is offset. I want the tire to stick out just barely from the fender. I will be running 18x9 wheels. Have heard that 0 offset would be good but googled it and it may stick out further than what I want. Looking for opinions and pictures of your f350 levelling kits and tires/wheels used. Please include offset info if you know it.

From experience, pick a simpler wheel, having nooks and crannies make it hard to clean and polish. 20's are more stable as there is less sidewall to flex. You want to get a high load rating rim most larger tires have a high payload rating.i would also not want the tires to stick out past the fender. Put on a little rubber fender extender. Unless you don't care about paint.

Most aftermarket rims will be a +1" offset to help from rubbing frame. I run 325/60r20s on the factory rims. 2" level. At full turn they just barely rub the suspension. I used to run aftermarket rims on the last truck. Hated how far they stuck out. Impossible to keep clean and manage rocks.

Have you checked out the website custom offsets? You can do a search on your exact truck and year with what you want to run, there will be some pics there.

I've pulled a loaded 4 place sled trailer with 37x13.5-17 and 37x12.50-20, both 10 ply. Both 9" wide wheels. Both in cross winds, tale winds and no winds, and through corners. No noticeable difference in sidewall sway. I prefer a little more sidewall, because the ride is better in my eyes, but that's assuming you have decent 10 ply tires. Some of the cheaper 10 ply aren;t as tough as name brand 8 ply, but that's only my experience.

On my '11 f350, I had a 4" BDS lift, with 37x12.5-20's, 20x9 Fuel Pumps. They were a +00 offset. Like you, I wanted them to stick out just a baby bit, and they did. a 13.5 wide tire might have finished it perfect. Not as much as I had originally wanted, but the saving to the paint and side window damage was worth it for me.

if you go with Fuel offroad rims , be wary of the center caps. great rims but they use these cheap plastic center caps that are very easy to crack when mechanics get happy with the electric drill .

This is my old truck 2011 +1 offset can't remember what rims they are. Levelling kit with a 1 1/2 blocks in the back and airbags 35 12.50 20s. No rubbing anywhere They did stick out a bit but I put the Bushwacker flares on it and looks just perfect. Only problem is I can't run front mudflaps or the tires ht them turning.

I have the same rims and combo on my 2013.

So I also am looking at picking up a 2015 F350 crew cab long box. My question is do you have to put in a leveling kit to run 35's? I'm thinking a 20x9 rim with +1 offset hoping I can put 325/60r20 duratracs on it.

Just my opionion but i think the fenders would look pretty stuffed with 325 with no leveling kit. I just bought a readylift 2.5" kit and am planning on running 295/65r20 tires and 20x9 wheels with +18 offset so they just barely stick out past the fenders, Buy a good quality leveling kit and make sure you change your shocks to a good quality shock such as the bilstein 5100's. get rid of the crap rancho shocks that the fx4 trucks come with if you have them.

That's kinda what I thought too. I don't want the wheel well to look stuffed. It is tough to find pics of what guys have done. What size tire do you think will fit with stock suspension? I do like the slightly outside the fender look.

Proabably best just to google different tire sizes. i still have stock tires on mine. google 295/65r20 with zero offset. sounds like you might be looking for this look.

I just put Fuel rims on my 2011 f 350 with a levelling kit and I run 35X12.50x20 Toyo CT's, I went with a 20x9 +20mm offset rims. The tires don't stick out and if they do its maybe a 1/4" if that. Sorry no pics.
