Buddy and I have 15km on the pros and just cruzin the field. I head for the trailer and he heads for the pile of snow from plowing driveway. This was 2 months ago so about 10" snow. He only cleared about 6' distance but he locked up his knee. Now the landing wasn't as graceful as the video and he bailed off after the impact. A nice drive to the big H reviled a broken hip. Some screws later and the new sled will still be new next year when he gets to ride it for the second time. The sled is ok

ouch....my buddy broke his hip a few years back, actually the top of the femur, the "ball" on top that goes into the hip socket. he has never been the same since, hope your bud makes a full recovery.
