Strongly Considering rebuilding my 06 700 kaki. Just wondering what your guys' opinion is when buying a rebuild kit. First of all i know OEM parts are built well, but i figure since I'm spending the money, i might as well get the best bang for my buck. I could piece together my own rebuild kit, for example get wiseco pistons, a set of hot cams, some kind of gasket kit etc. Or i can get a complete kit from a reputable builder like TRP, AMR or the others. I emailed a guy at TRP, and i can get a complete kit with gaskets, pistons, rings, wrist pins, cams and new valve springs for just over 1g.
