I have put an ET250 into a Bravo and have a clutch alignment problem. The crank post is shorter on the ET250 engine that the bravo 250, so the clutch is binding with the steel plate that seperates the engine and clutch. This plate offers the 3rd mounting point for the engine and without it the engine is not secured, however, I need to remove it to get the clearance I need.

Anyone out there have tools and knowledge to make the modification that will allow the clutch to turn, doesn't weaken the sled, and securely mounts the engine in the cowling?
