Easy Mod for a recoil pull for a formula stx 583?

You can change up to the recoil off a 98x engine the ratio changed in that year. However they are prone to stripping the plastic guts in the recoil. I took the so called updated recoil off my 98x and put a recoil off a 96 summit 583 on tougher to pull but wont leave you stranded

how about a newer skidoo..say 2000 and up or will it not fit??..tks Leo

Sell it, and get one with electric start. Always said I would never have one, but after you have rode a day with e-start, you will never buy another without it.
