It’s definitely set in for me. Who else has it? Could be a short few weeks until the season starts! We’ve managed to ride in October 3 times in the past 5 years (Oct 29 2016, Oct 22 2017, Oct 25 2020). Post your photos/stories of your early season trips.

I rode one October near the end of the month in the Pinepass BC. It was either 2003 or 2004. Can't remember which year as I have no pics...

Last early season trip was not a good one.
Went out early/mid November of 2019. On my brand new 19 M8000.

Playing in Allen Creek. Sucked in a rock. Split my cooler open. Whoops.

Jb welded it the best we could. Packed 4 litres of coolant with us the next day. I used all of it too.

What we found (and maybe by complete fluke/chance) was that Allen creek seemed the least rocky of all the places we have ridden early season.

Definitely had our fair share of carnage, but this normally happens in mid/late Nov for us when we are starting to get too much confidence for the snowpack depth lol

I peeled the front cooler off of my 2011 XP one year. I noticed my sled getting a little warm right away so turned around and went back... the front heat exchanger was laying right on the rock i cranked! First ride on my brand new sled!

I heard a rumor that some local folk were gunna take a drive up to Lucille this weekend and check out the situation... forecast has looked good in the area recently.. I would think 12-14" up top perhaps?

Guess we will wait and see
