My room mate has an 2009 arctic cat 700. He puts it in low and hits the diff lock switch but it doesn't lock the front diff. Its a recurring problem that he has had last few rides. It works fine for awhile then it quits. I looked at where the wires come down and im pretty sure its getting wet cause there doesn't seem to be any kind of boot over the connection. Can anyone tell me if this a common problem? If so what are you guys doing to fix it? I was thinking we could try to heat shrink it (although im not sure we can get it to seal that way). Anyways any advice would be apprieciated. Its been a pain in the butt, however i never get sick of telling him its a good thing i brought a polaris too pull out his kitty cat :)

two weeks ago i did somethiing to my diff lock on my 2009 mud pro 700 h1.
does'nt work, i can see the plunger on the servo motor moving in and out, but it's not engaging the axle.
The dealer has told me to bring it in for repair.
On arctic chat the guys say that the axles pop out half inch, and need to be put back in.
I'm not touching mine, because I want warranty if somthing else goes wrong.
My thread below, what goes pop is what you are talking about.

my cat dealer did not cover putting my MP axle in and charged me 3.5 hours for that and brakes. I took it in so they would cover warrenty problems in future but they do not cover anything.

So if the front diff is the weak link on the AC, is there a fix or a stronger part or something to be welded or what???
