can the water temp guage be by passed so the sled will run properly,when the sled gets hot the knock senser makes it run crappy trying to figure why,rebuilt engine,plugs fuel nothing helps any suggestoins would be great,2004 vertical escape 800 has twin pipes air box mod

Check your wiring harness. My friends sled had a broken wire going to his temp switch, we had to ohm out the wires to find it.
