630 Ched:
Edmonton police detectives have broken up one of the rings of thieves who target expensive Ford pick-ups in metro. Acting on a tip, police executed a search warrant at a property west of Edmonton. They found six Ford F-250's and F-350's that had been stolen in the city and in the suburbs. They also found additional stolen property and arrested two men on multiple counts of theft over five thousand dollars. While the EPS detectives were wrapping up at the scene, two men in a very freshly stolen Ford pick-up drove up to the property and police got a "bonus" bust. There's no doubt all four suspects knew what was going on with the purloined pick-ups and more charges may be pending.

Woo. Good Bust. Now they just need to bust a sled and atv ring, then were talking!

Its about time they caught some of those loosers........ They need gps loaded decoy trucks, to lure and catch these punks.....

That'd do the trick....have to be very careful now-a-days with tracking devices, D.E.S.S. ignition systems, bait vehicles....Takes a little more than a little hot wire job!! LOL

As a ciminology student, I found out something very interesting today.

80%-90% of all Stolen SUV's in Western Canada end up on a ship in less than 36 hours and are sent to Russia, where the Russian MOB buys them for cheap and uses them. (Professor told us that one today, when reviewing current Canadian Crime statistics).

I wonder if they want all out sleds and quads too? LOL

I agree unfortunatly the way the fricken justice system is in this country it would probably get thrown out for entrapment.:realmad:
