The Lower Mainland had some snow a month ago. This guy brings this home!
An immediate Kanedog investigation was launched. I go down the driveway and there were birds were feasting on a deer carcass. I suspect a cougar kill as there were no rabbits around in the deepish snow. I can’t think of any animal that could eat deer guts and rip the legs right off the deer. I guess cougar was hungry. I grabbed the trail cam and set it up to capture the action.
The eagle tolerated the Ravens but he was the king for sure.
The coyotes dragged it away that night and shat right where the carcass was. So rude. No pics, darn.
This is what’s left of the deer now. Not much waste in nature.
