Chewy and myself left Calgary Saturday 3:30 am and we unloaded at Frisby 8:30 am at mile one intersection. Trail had been groomed over night so the trail up was smooth. When we got up to the cabin it was foggy but you could tell that the sun was going to burn it off soon so we headed up towards the green tower.
By the time we got to the ridge by the two poles we took a short break as the fog was starting to break. We did a bunch of climbing and boondocking through the trees but finding untouched powder wasn,t easy but we did manage to find some.Conditions here were most definitly better the last weekend. They sure need a big dump.We didn't break anything on rocks or stumps but had a close call when my sled went ghost rider down the mountain and was stopped by big tree that stopped my sled from certain carnage as where she stopped was over a place that would of required helicopter.Other than that and a few to many stucks on my part it was a good day. Trail on the way down was like they had never groomed. There must have have been a lot of sleds up there but we didn,t see them.
We stayed at the Monashee Motel a sledder place for sure and had delivered what has to be the best pizza in town from Zalas. We were asleep by 8:00 but woke up ready to rock.
So on Sunday we went to Boulder. We parked at the Kirkup and Bezansen intersection and rode up Kirkup. I found out later that we took the best way as our buddies Tyler, Tim and Skinz took Bezansen and encountered a few open creeks.Apparently it was a bit of a trying ride so you all should use Kirkup for the mean time.
When we got to the cabin to sign in it was thick fog.We met up with Tyler and the boys up top towards the sugerbowls. You couldn,t see a thing, but as we all use Rino 530 GPS radios we found them in no time.Gotta love modern technology.
We looked hard most of the afternoon for someplace to ride below or above the cloud and managed to get lucky when we got below the cloud and found an area that was untouched powder. We had a blast playing in the trees and different powder filled meadows. We did manage to find a few rocks on some short stright up climbs an Tim found out trees are great for brakes but no serious damage. All in all an excellent day.We stayed on the mountain till after dark we were having so much fun but made for a long drive back to Calgary. No regrets though I'll do it again.
Conditions in Revy are not as good as this time last year but still better than sitting at home thinking about it.A big dump in the mountains would be appreciated by all no doubt.
I am going to take next weekend off to wait for more snow but the main reason is Calgary has the Snowmobile show this weekend and I could use a few more accessories but if I hear that Revy gets a dumping I'll most definitly be going sledding. So till next report happy safe sledding to all.

Cheers,
Dave

Isn't technology The greatest thing!! :d I find the rino 530 hcx the best investment I've made so far as it's an all in 1 device, missing only a camera! It's got the sidetracked pack together so many times, besides the beacon which I hope I never need to use , It's by far the most usefull tool !!:) Well I can't forget the helmcam, it's pretty sweet too!

Matt just had that turbo put on his M8 and this was his second weekend out with it. It pretty much has been perfect right out of the box. He has had no issues what so ever. He's running on pump gas with six pounds boost and this sled hauls. Shain Stanger and his Twisted Turbos are an excellent reliable system that is simple to tune. If you are even concidering one you should call Shain.

Cheers
Dave
