Custom Axis vs. ZBroz Exit shocks

Im going to be ordering some custom shocks for my 2013 ProClimb within the next month or two. I have been around the ZBroz shocks quite a bit and know that their great shocks, probably the best for what I will be doing. A friend of mine was telling me to go with the Axis but their 650$ more then the nicest ZBroz, can any one on here fill me in on why they are "better Shocks". Sorry Fox but just not interested in an air shock. I will be racing a few hill climbs and a few other races but for the most part I ride in the steep and deep. Any info or feedback on these Axis Shocks would be great... Lambert

The axis shocks are a penske shock, which are considered to be some of the best shocks money can buy. I have never used either so I really couldn't tell you why, but I know in road racing it is hard to beat a penske shock.
