Was checking out the play on my 2012 pro steering and noticed that the upper support is cracked on both sides where the upper steering shaft support bushing is mounted. Does anyone make an aftermarket replacement. Google shows a couple of pictures, but can not seem to find any other info on them. Also known as overstructure.

I believe u need to replace the whole piece. Part of it is cast and part is the tubing that runs down to the foot holds and back by the fuel tank... I busted mine a while back

Lots of risk welding cast. I have done it and it held up but if. It done correctly it won't take much to break again. I'd get a new one or find aftermarket like mentioned

IMG_0885.jpg Buddy's pro had the same thing. After looking closer, he found lots and lots of additional things broken. He had to totally rip it apart.

Look a little closer, there may be more.

broken bulkhead half? This would be prime time to throw a front cooler in that thing! Also, the bulkhead halfs aren't glued together from factory but it definatley helps make the the bulkhead itself much more rigid. The lord adhesive is certainly not cheap, but at this point it seems like a $100 tube is a walk in the park compared to what he is up against.

It's all back together, lots of parts, glue, $$$ etc. He decided to pull the motor for convenience.

Just wanted to mention that the original damage was first thought as the upper structure, but motor mounts etc were affected,.

He clipped a rock with his ski no real evidence of damage, except left ski was back a tad. He first thought it was just the upper structure, then he looked inside.

Its all together now.
