cr 450

i know this is lots of bike but a good friend of mine is selling his cr 450 with a track kit for $4500. he is a older guy and only rode it 4 time. says its too much for him and is sticking to quads from here on out. its a 2006. is this a good buy. i don't know much about dirt bikes but i do know it would be lots to handle for a first time bike. was thinking about buying it and maybe getting a good trade, whats the thoughts around here?

lots of bike for sure and not what i would ride if a new rider if u have riding bikes might be ok. or u could take it and trade it for a ktm350 or a crf250x very nice trail bikes. not sure if u race so what kind if riding are u planing on doing with it?

hey, I have a crf 450x... the 450r isn't much different. No head light or tail light and shorter gears. If you trust him it sounds like a great deal. Go to Thumpertalk and read the forums about it. They are easy to mod too...
