Cowtown to Big Dog ShootOut

Now that Revy's Big Iron ShootOut is gone one might have to make the journey to the BDSO.

This kind of event is the Olympics of (mountain) Sledding and I feel I must make that journey before its gone too. Been to the BIS afew times and like most sporting events I'd rather be there than watch it on tv.

So how long a journey from Calgary?

I heard that the B.I.S went last weekend,they just didn't advertise and kept it quiet.This may be false,but I think my source should be fairly reliable.

40th Anniversary of the BIS was last weekend. Next is Yammifest (next weekend), Fairview Utah the following weekend and then the Greatest Shoot-Out of them all the

BIG DAWG SHOOT-OUT in Pemberton BC on April 19th.

It is about a 12 hour Journey from Calgary (depending on Vancouver Traffic and Sea to Sky Highway Construction).

That would be great to see, but a long ride for us in Edmonton, and Im in Trout lake that weekend. Please get some video's for us and put them in the video section. Thanks

One day soon I'll have to make the journey to the BDSO. Until then who do I talk to about getting on the list to be a part of future Big Iron SO's
