What is the correct torque setting for a P85 clutch bolt?

Just changed the weights in mine it was a pig to get off but we managed to do it

Have seen a reference on another forum that its torqued to 96ft/lb but my manual says 40/45ft/lbs

So if I keep it in the 40/45ft/lb range will that be ok

Because of the engine vibration it should be torqued to 96 ft lbs. If you've had the clutch off you need to ride it and re-torque it a couple times because they have been known to loosen once in awhile.

Thanks to both of you for the information

A buddy of mine phoned a couple of dealers for me with the result that the torque settings in the manual are wrong
What 900sleddude said is correct
so i torqued mine up to 90ft/lbs then removed the bolt and did this again 3 times running the engine up in between each time
Going for a ride tomorrow then will recheck the torque again after that
