In my 07 700 kinquad I have 22 gram weights for my clutch in now and was wondering if I should go to the 18 gram ones, which ones have the best results for power. I also have the yellow secondary spring, is green the better one to go for the power?

I just did the coop mod on my 750, went with 1.5mm shim, and with the 27" xtr's it great. Got all the bottem end back, and although I lost some top end, with the larger tires I can still do 90-95 Km/hr.

Ya that looks awesome, Im doing this for sure. Can I make these shims out of washers or something as long as they are 2mm and I assume the same OD and ID as the shafts, or should I order them in.

The shims you are looking for are made by Yamaha and are about 3 buck each.

1.5 mm part no. 90201-222F4

0.5 mm part no. 90201-222F0

Put the 1.5mm shim in my 750 king, Its great. Most effective, cheap mod you can do.
