Hey, just wondering if there is a Gas Station or Farmer that is Sled friendly located on the Sturgeon River, close to St. Albert. Just want to go for a ride on Sunday and am having a hard time finding a place to unload the sleds. Thanks

John

Your best bet is Happy's Store at the entrance to Long Lake 9 miles south of Boyle.

Thanks for the info, I guess we're just going to Coal Lake and stage from the lake, on the North side boat launch. There's not a bad little trail on the West side of lake and a couple of farmers fields to burn around in. Caught some nice Pike last year, one ten pounder. See ya!

There's one just north Of Namao on the east side of the highway by the river.

That is the best one for the Sturgeon River. Just 1 mile or so north on HWY 28 past HWY 37.

Alternatively there is a staging area on the north end of Morinville by the ball diamonds next to HWY 2 on the east side. The staging area is part of the Sturgeon Snowmobile club.
