Deciding which way to go? 2014 Chevy Suburban 1500 4x4 with the 5.3L. Want to add a little extra support to the rearend and had Firestone airbags on the last Sub we had - didn't care for them. Been thinking of adding the Timbren rubber springs. Looks simple and effective. Only tow the boat and once in a while an aluminum 26' enclosed trailer - so the Sub is easily under its GVWR when towing. Anybody have any good experience going with the non-airbag options?

Timbren hurts your ride. I had them in my 09 ram 1500. You don't notice them till you hit a frost heave or big bump. You notice them lots with a load. There are better systems out there.

What do you mean by "hurts your ride"? Just doesn't leave you with as smooth a ride or actually can cause damage to other parts?
