Cheap shipping Nanaimo to calgary

Got a big plastic bin, one of those Home Depot ones that needs shipping, weighs over 100lbs so a greyhound won't take it, what is another cheap method? I will go pick it up from a depot and the shipper is willing to drop off so thinking truck freight, but hard to tell from some of their web sites whether they will deal with that small a package. Any suggestions based on experience and an idea of what I should expect for cost? By the way, UPS quoted $180.
