Is a 1996 Skidoo Formula Z 583 considered an F-2000 chassis?

Formula Z,
You are correct your a 1996 Formula Z is a F chassis sled. I apologize for saying it was an S chassis in the other thread. The majority of the 1996 sleds (Summits, MXZ's) were produced in the S chassis. I forgot there were a few stragglers!

it is a "f" chassis........... Not a "f2000" chassis.....

I am looking to purchase mounts for a set of SLP Powder Pro skis, but want to make sure I get the right mounts. The manufacturer indicates "Saddle Bracket for Ski-Doo ALL F-2000, 1998-00 CK3 & 1995-01 S-2000 SLP Part No. 35-136 " Does my 1996 Formula Z fit the above description? I have a quote for $50/each from Riverside for the above mounts. Anyone know if I can get a better deal on the mounts?

Yes they will fit your 96.

thats decent price. buddy of mine just bought from slp direct and i think he was like 40 bucks plus shipping. so 50 is decent.
