CFR Rack install on REV

Question regarding a CFR rack install on a REV:

The 'ridge' that goes along the sides of the tunnel lift the rack up so not flush with tunnel. Guess my question is should I take all this off (goes into light and into seat) or has anyone filled void between rack and tunnel with a spacer?

I emailed CFR and they sent me a PDF of an install for a rev but tunnel completely flat.

just make some spacers other wise the tail light wires will be exposed

yeah i was contemplating cutting edges, re-routing brake light wire, etc etc but pain in the ass so am just going to get a 1/2" pipe and cut a piece off and use as spacers.
