Hey everyone. I have been told that if I want to carry my Outlander in the back of my RAM 1500 SB, with the tailgate up, that I would use car ramps and drive the bike up onto those. Has anyone done this and does it work well?

Thanks.

Rob.

Used car ramps last couple year and stacked some wood on top of the ramps in my 2011 3500 mega cab short box... Worked just fine

I had ramps made for me out of steel tubing, they are about 4-6 inches taller than store bought ramps and work great. Ric's method would work good too.

I use the red ramps also grizzly/ dodge 6.5 box and i can close my tailgate with letting couple pounds of air out of my rear tires then pumping them back up when I unload

Wouldn't it just be cheaper, easier, and safer to build your own riser?
