Capital Region Toy Ride will be held on Sunday January 28, 2007 organized by the Tri-County Snowmobile Club and open for all snowmobilers to participate. The TCSC has participated for many years with the ride and encourages all snowmobilers to participate in this event. Over the past years we have seen upwards of 100 sleds come out. Its a great excuse to get out and have some fun in a big group.
If you like bring a gift per machine (or per person which ever you like), they will be placed in a covered truck. Toys or money donation are accepted and will be forwarded to charities in Sherwood Park and Leduc. Food bank donations are also welcome.
The Ride
Everyone will meet and register at the Cooking Lake Sailing Club. From Edmonton southeast on Hwy 14, then north on Range Road 220 into the sailing club. Register at 10:00 am. Unload early and be ready to ride for 11:00 am departure. People can drop off donations before the rides starts or bring them on your sled to the Looma ESSO for those that wish to drop there. All donations will be collected and delivered by Tri-County.
Back at the Sailing Club we will have a fire, wiener roast, hot chocolate and a social after the ride.
Consider decorating your sleds up with ribbons and bows and maybe a reindeer or Santa too - many do this and this is the one time of the year we would not tease you for this sort of thing so enjoy!
For more information contact Dan at 913-3838 or Haakeye at 922-4225
