SUNDAY JANUARY 8TH, 2012. TRI-COUNTY SNOWMOBILE CLUB IS HOSTING:
CAPITAL REGION SNOWMOBILE TOY RUN.
THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT.

STAGING AREA IS LOCATED ON RANGE ROAD 215, SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 21, ABOUT 1/4 MILE FROM HAY LAKES, ALBERTA.
PRE-REGISTRATION STARTS AT 9:30AM.
DEPART AT 11AM SHARP.
RIDE IS APPROX 60KM'S
BRING YOUR WIFE, BRING YOUR KIDS, BRING A BUDDY.
ALL SLEDS MUST BE INSURED AND REGISTERED.

HOPE TO SEE LOTS OF PEOPLE OUT THERE.

What if there is no snow! are you using Quads?

Ha Ha, not likely. We rode it Dec 11th, 2011, and only a hand full of sled turned up. most people thought there was no snow, but turned out there was plenty for this ride. so I'm guessing as long as we have the same amount or better, bring your sleds cause it'll be a go. Better start the snow dance,

Hi all
With the looks of our snow or lack of it I think the Toy run should be canceled. I think we will not have the turn out we would want. No snow in forecast. Warm weather in the plus side and melting what we had fast. So my thoughts are to cancel till Dec. 2012 or Jan. 2013 if we have snow. As some know we did ride on Dec. 11 2011 and it was not bad just a poor show of participants. Thanks to all and hope for the best next winter.

Thats is really too bad was kinda looking forward to this . lack of snow is really sucking the life out of sledding may have to do the Family day quad rally in Alberta Beach just to get out.

Sucks big time, been a long long time since we were able to do it before Christmas and have the weather for it.
