Canoe Mountain from the Summit River lodge

I am heading down to Vale on Tuesday and staying at the Summit River lodge, looking to ride from the lodge on Wednesday to canoe moutain, I was never there before so if anyone got any advice or info it would be greatly appreciated:beer:

I agree with maxwell. Rode there years ago when we first started riding the mountains. Someone always seemed to damage their sled there.

Canoe Mountain is one big rock at the north end of the Monashee Range. Once you are into the alpine there is not a lot of protection so if you don't drive off a cliff the wind will likley blow you off. Best to save that one for a quad trip on a sunny, calm day in the summer.

Thanks for all the info guys, we took your advice and stayed out of there, maybe I will check it out with the quad this summer, thanks again everyone:beer:
