I hope I can explain this right, and yes I've searched it. I've got a 2012 Can Am outlander Max XT, over the winter I used it regularly till one day while running it smelt like it was putting out pure fuel. I parked it in the warm garage to totally defrost and did not touch it for a few weeks. Nice warm weather outside now, I start it up and everything is fine, until I tap the throttle. Then it stays rev'd at 3000. I need to shut off the engine, then restart to have the RPM's low enough to change gears. Now the kicker is that this only happens while in park or neutral. While in forward or reverse gears, it rev's up when the throttle is pushed, then drops back to the usual idle RPM. I've also noticed its a bit difficult to get the bike in gear, I've kind of have to rock the bike to change gears. Any thoughts, Thanks in advance......oh and I'm not getting any error codes.
