Visual inspection of your Steering post is highly recommended on a regular basis. I was riding this past weekend and found my steering was a bit loose by the end of the day, thought it was just the bushings that need to be replaced. Got back to camp, then the next day decided to turn the quad around, I started it and when I went to turn wheels, crack, the handlebars came right out. The shaft broke, now this happened once allready and I welded it and even added some pipe inside. Now it broke a bit further down. I found alot of mud and water inside the shaft so I presume it just rusts inside and where it breaks in right where the upper bushing is.
