If you don't want to press drivers the stock T3 shaft and drivers are about the same price as just the Avid drivers and they clear fine.

if you can wait a season. the 3" flexedge from doo will be available and from what I've seen it looks like a 153 so you wont need the big wheel kit. I'm around $2000 for the 3" and t3 drivers.

and from what I've read the 3" from doo is better and more forgiving track then the X3

I run an old style camo extreme and prefer the doo track. The softer lugs work better in softer snow and the flex edge is a nice feature. Can't comment on the X3 as I've never run one but they kind of look like a turd with the way inset lugs.

I was wondering if it would be a 156 or a 153.

Id like to be able to get my hands on 154 flexedge but availability is my concern.

Wait it till spring snow, if you ride it. In lower elevation conditions right now in golden those soft paddles really suck ass. Hard to hook up to get into the hills. Plus the soft paddles really fold over after a season, we usually flip the tracks backwards every season for soft paddles. I still prefer the old style camo 3".

Yeah it hooks up good in spring conditions but I didn't put a 3" on for spring conditions lol.
