Calgary to Mcbride

Have to go to Mcbride on Saturday to pick up a sled. Never been to Mcbride and would like to know the best/fastest way to drive there. Seems like the #1 to highway 93 then to highway 16 seems to be most direct route but not sure if it is the fastest as most of that is park driving. Any suggestions would help.Thanks in advance.
