Hoping to get some help here. I'm trying to bypass the kill & tors switch on my 2013 M1100 Turbo. I found a wiring diagram for both switches and wondering if i should tie the two wires to the common ground they share down by the wiring harness or if there's another way.

Where did you find that diagram? As far as I know cats had normally open killswitches and keyswitches, meaning all you have to do to bypass is unplug it. Maybe the 4 strokes are different? I'm not sure about the TORS but I think your right that all you need to bypass is to ground it.

It's from a manual i downloaded from cat country site. Its got full wiring diagrams for everything. Unplugging the harness will disable all my handle bar controls unfortunately. I think cutting wires and tieing the three together on the handle bar side of the plug would disable both and not throw codes. Was hoping someone else has done this or has some electrical know how.

Ok I didn't realize it was an all or nothing kinda deal lol I'm used to the older sleds. The cat section is kinda slow here, arcticchat.com has a few gurus floating around that I'm sure would be able to help you out if no one on here has done it before.

4 strokes are opposite of the 2 stroke. Normally closed you would have to jumper the signal wires to ground. Then all should be good.
