I have an 07 brute force 750 and every time I get into water it runs like crap like it's running on one cylinder does anybody have any ideas.

It sound like it is sucking in steam into the air box. I put header wrap on my head pipe and it fixed the problem. You could also snorkel the intake to the air box

How long does it take before the problem goes away? Does it happen regardless of whether you splash through or just ride through slowly?

I apologize if I'm stating the obvious, but have you checked your plug boots? Make sure they seat tightly and dielectric grease them.

Also the carb or t body boots to engine block crack and do the same thing... Check them too
