When there is a BRP topend recall on a 2011 E-Tec, does the dealer put a new resistor in or do you treat it like any other topend rebuild break in? Is it true that the pistons and rings are replaced but not the bearings? What else should a guy ask for to be done that isn't included in the recall?

There is no resistor. They connect your sled to the computer and tell the ECU to go back into break in mode and it reverts back to the settings it used during the initial break in.
