Here are some pic's of us helping guy that bent his rails so bad they were touching the 2 inner rear wheels crossing a small creek. The guy went and make a few high marks till he thought he was pushing his luck, still 35km to drive out. The avalanche happened about 500 yards behind us don't choose where you break down but this place was better than the 500 yard sooner.

Where were the pics taken?

The pic's are on the way to big blue/holy grail right in the run out area before you climb into the first bowl. The log as a spacer was my neighbor next house over funny how that worked out because we didn't know they were even going.

Ya, we had a slide in that area last year when we were in there.... We went into the second bowl and came back, and there was a slide.... Only cover about 1/2 the valley, but none the less, that's a scary area!!!

That whole valley is prone to slides after fresh snow. Six in one day when I was in there two years ago. Helped a group member get unstuck and then Will and I watched one come right at us. 75 yards from our sleds in waist deep snow. We just stood there ready to pull our bags as we were not gonna get back to our sleds. We had a point of slide travel picked for when we would pull. Slide stopped at the ledge we picked about 75-100 yards in font of us. All we got was mist and a hell of a wind blast. Oh ya, full pants to  Still ride the area just watch where I ride and park a lot closer.
